- Collaborate with client to obtain supporting documents
- Maintain accurate ledgers by coding transactions to appropriate accounts
- Monthly Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
- Knowledge what’s on a Balance Sheet and Income Statement
- Preparing monthly financial statements )[Software prints these based upon your transaction postings])
- Processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks, if applicable [Not Often]
- Managing a portfolio of clients with various levels of complexity
- Ability to stay on course to meet deadlines and client needs, including reporting
- Experience with closing entries both quarterly and yearly
- Enter Financial Statement data into Tax software (DRAKE)
- Minimum of 2-5 years recent and relevant full charge bookkeeping experience in the U.S. Experience working in family office a plus
- Extremely organized and able to multi-task with various clients
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Diverse industry experience with small & medium size businesses
- Motivated self-starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Applications, Xero OR QuickBooks and Excel.
- Proven ability to remain confidential
- Experience working in an Accounting Company is preferred but not mandatory
- Interest in learning and exploring new technologies
